not much this weekend, but plenty to look forward to

This weekend, I mostly stayed home, sleeping in and doing homework, but I did help my dad shop for some things he was wanting (such as another garbage can for composting).
One event I look forward to this week is my school's annual rod rally; I will be helping a volunteer drive an old car on a route (basically giving directions when needed) and I might even receive a treat such as a donut that the driver orders. After that, I will go back to school where there will be a picnic and a concert, and awards will be given to students.
This week is the last full week of school for me, and I still have a few things I will need to do. I am getting closer to finishing my history course, which I will need to complete by Thursday (though I might be able to get an extension on). I will have assignments in other classes, but those shouldn't be too hard for me. I will look forward to when school ends next week!
