There are not many exciting things happening this week or next week, except that I might get to read and write poetry.
The next exciting thing that will happen will be the Track Meet, which is two weeks from today. I get to run across the school's track and do many other fun activities. After that, there is a dance that I might go to. I went to the Track Meet twice and went to a similar dance at school last year.

Yes, we'll have fun with our poetry unit. And the track meet is just around the corner. It won't be long before we have a big group of kids here - then there will be a dance that night.
